Pancake Tuesday is fast approaching on February 13th, (arguably one of the best days of the year), so we thought we'd bring you everything you need to celebrate the day the right way.
First of all, you're going to need a recipe so we've trialed (and taste-tested) many so we could bring you the easiest and best recipe we could find!
Pancake Recipe
- Sieve 125g flour and a pinch of salt into a bowl.
- Make a well in the centre of the flour, break in the egg. Beat well, gradually pouring in 300ml milk and drawing in the flour to make a smooth batter.
- Pour batter into a jug and allow to stand for about 30 minutes.
- Brush a pancake pan or frying pan with oil. When the pan is hot, give the batter a stir before pouring a thin layer onto the pan.
- Fry until golden brown. Turn and fry the other side until brown also.
- Add you favourite toppings and enjoy!
