Self-Care Sundays - A Relaxing Space

It is that time of year when the nights get darker, the evening air is cooler and the leaves start to brown. We want our home to feel cosy and inviting after a long day at work. Our homes act as multifunctional places now and many of us still work remotely. It is important to separate working areas by doing things in your home to create a different ambiance, this can be as simple as lighting a candle.

This week we are talking about self-care in your home. Self-care has a lot of different meanings and is very much personal to the individual. For me self-care means being kind to myself, making my space a relaxed and enjoyable place to be. We tend to make everyone else a priority practicing self-care can be as simple as taking the time to look after yourself. To enjoy a moment of calm every day is so beneficial to our overall health. This week I will cover ways to make your space a little sanctuary of calm and serenity. With the use of essential oils, reed diffusers, luxury bath products to bring the relaxing spa experience home.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils for therapeutic benefits. This includes everything from reducing stress, lifting your mood, purifying the air and aiding sleep.

I love to light these before a bath it really sets a calming tone in the room.

If you prefer to have a scent that lasts all day in your home. Why not add a reed diffuser to your space. These are perfect for bathrooms, halls or the entrance to your rooms, giving your home a fresh, fragrant scent all day long.
