Last Friday night was an exciting one for all the children across the country as the Late Late Toy Show returned to our screens.
Here at McElhinneys, Christmas came early for our staff after our See Me charity portrait book in aid of Donegal Down Syndrome Association was featured on the show.
The book was showcased in pride of place on the bookshelf behind show host Ryan Tubridy throughout the special episode, which is one of the most watched programmes on Irish television each year.
Our See Me book even got a special 'Stamp of Approval' from Ryan during the much-loved book review segment of the show.
Earlier in the day, Highland Radio's Lee Gooch spoke to Ryan about the See Me book and Ryan promised it would feature in the show and would be placed on a bookshelf in the centre of the Wizard of Oz-themed set.
Ryan had another surprise in store, however, and we were all shocked and honoured beyond words when he decided to pick up the See Me book and discuss it in front of the millions of viewers who had tuned in to the Toy Show from all across the world.
We have been inundated with messages and photos of our book on the Toy Show from our customers and supporters and can't thank everyone enough for sharing in our excitement and joy at this special project receiving recognition in such a major way.
So much hard work and dedication went into creating this wonderful book and showcasing these amazing young people, and we are thrilled to have it shared on national television.
We would like to thank Ryan Tubridy and all at the Late Late Toy Show for making this possible and helping us to spread the word about our See Me campaign.
If you're looking to get your hands on our See Me book, it is on sale at McElhinneys online and in-store. Get your copy online here.
Until next time,
